AI Engineering Team Lead Location: Ostrava/ Hybrid - 1 day in office This role sits at the intersection of engineering leadership and hands-on delivery. You’ll lead a team of talented AI/ML engineers while working closely with product owners, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver production-grade AI solutions at scale.   Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI/ML engineers through regular 1:1s, code reviews, and continuous feedback Own and drive the team’s SDLC processes: sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives (Scrum) Ensure production stability and operational excellence of AI applications, including incident response and support escalation Promote engineering best practices across: Testing strategies CI/CD pipelines Documentation standards Code quality and maintainability

What You Bring 5–7+ years of experience in software development 2+ years in a team lead or technical lead role, i.e Acting TL Proven experience supporting production systems, including on-call rotations, incident management, and SLA ownership Proficiency in Python, with experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, Pydantic, or similar End-to-end SDLC ownership: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and LLM-based application development Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
