Senior Java Developer

O nabídce

• Develop high-performance Java applications for a global electronic trading platform
• Work with Java, Linux, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Aeron, Protocol Buffers, Chronicle, and high-performance JVM technologies
• Design scalable, low-latency, and highly available distributed systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews, automated testing, and DevOps activities
• Optimize application performance and participate in the development of next-generation trading technology
• Work closely with international engineering teams across Prague, London, and New York

Požadujeme

• Strong commercial experience with Core Java
• Experience developing high-performance, distributed applications
• Good knowledge of Linux, including basic scripting
• Experience with Maven or Gradle and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong software design, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with test automation and clean code principles
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with electronic trading or financial systems
• Knowledge of market data platforms (Refinitiv, Exegy)
• Experience with Aeron, Agrona, Chronicle, Protocol Buffers, Google Guice
• Knowledge of C++, DevOps, or containerization technologies
• Interest in low-latency architecture and performance optimization
